The Toyota/Save Mart 350 race will mark the final NASCAR broadcast on FOX this season. This will be the 34th time that the Cup Series has made the trip to Sonoma Raceway, having first visited the California venue in 1989. After the Toyota/Save Mart 350 was cancelled due to covid-19 in 2020, Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson was victorious when the race returned in 2021, before Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez took the chequered flag last year, the 31-year-old becoming the first Mexican-born driver to win the event.
