This weekend, Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) will climb into the ring to take on Canelo Álvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs) in what is probably the dream fight for many fans around the world. The hugely anticipated event will face off in a unified super middleweight title matchup in Las Vegas, putting their reputations on the line.

The Las Vegas Raiders’ arena, the 65,000 seat Allegiant Stadium, will host the two fighters as they go head to head; the TV viewers will be watching in their millions, all via Netflix, the official broadcast partner for the headline event.

What titles are on the line for Canelo vs Crawford?

This stellar bout will see a number of titles on the line, given that Canelo Álvarez is a serial champion. As such, all of the WBO, WBA, IBF, and WBC super middleweight world titles, as well as the Ring Magazine title, are all up for grabs for the winner.

Is Crawford injured?

In a word: no. The fighter revealed his feelings on the incessant rumours regarding an apparent shoulder injury, telling reporters: “Where I got the shoulder injury from, I don’t know. I see people coming up with all their own antics, you know ‘Terrence Crawford got a shoulder injury,’ ‘Terrence Crawford is out of shape,’ ‘Terrence Crawford’s slow.’ They coming up with all kinds of stuff,” he said."

How much is the fight purse?

While we’re not sure, at least pre-fight, how much is in the prize purse for the two fighters; the most recent reports suggest that it could reach as high as $150 million.

It has also been suggested that Crawford is guaranteed a minimum of $10 million, although that number, once sponsorships and bonuses are calculated, will certainly be much higher. The Mexican, for his part, is about to earn a minimum of $100m.
