What is the 2024 British Open purse?

The aforementioned Claret Jug is a significant prize in itself, but the winner on Sunday will also receive a sizeable bump in their bank account. Although the R&A haven’t yet announced the official purse, it is likely to be up from the $16.5 million from last year. From that, Brian Harman walked away with $3 million.
