It’s time for the last chance to win a Grand Slam this year!

The 2023 US Open draw has been revealed, showing who will play against each other in the season’s final major tournament in New York City. The matches will.

Starting Monday, August 28, will be 128 players in the main draw. 104 have already been chosen directly, and eight wild cards have been given out. After the qualifying rounds are finished on Friday, 16 more players will join the main draw.

Who is Coco Gauff playing?

In the second week of the US Open, we might see Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff facing each other in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Gauff recently beat Swiatek for the first time in eight matches during the Cincinnati semifinals. And now the No. 6 seed could play the No.1 seed and defending champion if things go according to the rankings.

Gauff and Swiatek need to win four rounds before facing each other in the quarter-finals. Swiatek will start against Rebecca Peterson, while Gauff will play against a qualifier in the first round.

Gauff might face Mirra Andreeva, another young tennis player, in the second round. The 19-year-old has been in the news this season for her good performance at Wimbledon and Roland Garros and for winning her first WTA 500 title in Washington D.C. and her first WTA 1000 title in Cincinnati. She will also play against a qualifier in her first US Open appearance.

Gauff has a perfect record of 4-0 against players younger than her in her career, and one of these wins was against Erika Andreeva in Paris.
