Where will the next PGA Championships be played? Future venues

The schedule for the highly anticipated PGA Championship for the next seven years has been recently announced by the P.G.A. of America.

Seth Waugh, a former Deutsche Bank Americas CEO and since 2018 P.G.A. of America Chief Executive Officer, once said, “When we pick golf courses because we’re the P.G.A. of America, we represent golf at every level,” Waugh said. “Each of our sections also takes enormous pride in hosting a championship.”

The decision for PGA Championships venues is driven by the desire to share the courses among the P.G.A. of America’s 41 governing areas representing club and teaching professionals. This ensures fair access and distribution of championship venues.

One suggestion is to provide an engaging and challenging tournament with genuine participant assessments.

Where will the next PGA Championships be played?

In a recent announcement, the P.G.A. of America has unveiled its highly expected PGA Championship calendar for the next seven years. The calendar features a notable addition to the roster of venues: the city of Frisco, Texas. This will also be the new P.G.A. of America headquarters location, which will relocate from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

It has been announced that the upcoming PGA Championships in 2027 will take place at the new venue in Frisco. This decision made by the P.G.A. of America is part of its strategic plan to broaden its reach and introduce professional golf to different areas nationwide.
