Where will the next PGA Championships be played? These are the future venues
The 2025 tournament at Quail Hollow is where the current focus lies, but the upcoming four years have already been announced by the PGA of America.

All eyes are on Charlotte, North Carolina, where Scottie Scheffler is leading the pack at the 2025 PGA Championship. Decisions have already been made about the future venues. “When we pick golf courses, because we’re the PGA of America, we represent golf at every level. Each of our areas also take enormous pride in hosting a championship,” said Seth Waugh, PGA of America Chief Executive Officer.

This ensures fair access and distribution of championship venues. One requirement is to provide an engaging and challenging tournament with genuine participant assessments.
Where will 2026 PGA Championships be played?
In a 2022 announcement, the PGA of America unveiled its expected PGA Championship calendar for the seven years to follow. The calendar features a notable addition to the roster of venues: the city of Frisco, Texas in 2027. This will also be the new PGA of America headquarters location, relocating from Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. This decision is part of its strategic plan to broaden its reach and introduce professional golf to different areas nationwide.
As is clear from the table below, there is a good spread of venues across these seven years.
PGA Championships venues
Year | Venue | Location |
---|---|---|
2026 | Aronimink Golf Club | Newtown Square, Pa. |
2027 | PGA Frisco | Frisco, Texas |
2028 | The Olympic Club | San Francisco, Calif. |
2029 | Baltusrol Golf Club | Springfield, N.J. |

On four, and still playing, is Tiger Woods (1999 to 2007) and then come Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Brooks Koepka on three. Every single one of them American.
