Julio César Chávez Jr. is one that has hinted that Paul could be his next opponent following his recent return to boxing. The Mexican boxer, who has faced numerous personal issues, expressed his desire to continue his current trajectory in the sport. Saturday also saw Chávez Jr. defeated Jamaican Uriah Hall by unanimous decision, marking his return to the ring after 945 days. Post-fight, he shared with ESPN journalist Salvador Rodríguez his confidence in still being able to compete and mentioned his interest in fighting a world champion or Jake Paul.
“Venía de todos los problemas, no me arriesgué a que me golpeara, me sentí muy bien. Creo que todavía puedo competir, eso fue lo que demostré. Preferiría enfrentar a un campeón del mundo, pero Jake Paul sería una buena pelea también”: JC Chávez Jr. #ESPNKnockOut pic.twitter.com/qtSULfTMtW

This comeback fight, held at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, was Chávez Jr.’s first fight since December 18, 2021, when he beat David Zegarra in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
Dillon Danis offers money to fans for Paul fight
American submission grappler and mixed martial artist, Dillon Danis, also appeared to be keeping tabs on Paul. Now 30, he wasn’t impressed by what he’s seen.
“Jake only fights guys he’s sparred with and knows he has a size advantage over,” Danis posted on X. “Stop giving this con artist attention.”
He then went further and challenged him.
“If Jake Paul can knock me out, every single person who likes this will get $50,000. I’ll put it in my contract.” One hour after posting that there around 18,000 likes. I make that $900K and counting!

Someone else who wasn’t buying the hype was Conor McGregor.
“Jake Paul is the biggest pissbag I have ever seen in my life,” the Irishman began, before handing out some big accusations. “40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shitting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real…”

Paul will likely need a little time now to come down from the high of his latest win in the ring. Then eyes will be on the decision he makes about the next money-spinning bout, with several thousand fans crossing their fingers that Danis gets a go.
