AC Milan kit launch provides hint to Pulisic future

The worst thing in football is a vacuum. Not the machine you use to clean your floors, but a lack of information. A space-time vacuum. A hole in the fabric of the universe. Something needs to fill all spaces; when we don’t have anything there, we need to fill it.

The lack of information regarding Christian Pulisic’s future at AC Milan is creating anxiety for some. While his contract runs until 2027, the poor performances from the player have naturally bred rumours that won’t go away. Does he need a fresh start? Can he find his place in the Milan team again?

For a while, we didn’t have anything concrete. In those gaps the rumours grew, but now we do have information. Or at least a clue.

The USMNT star was the protagonist of the photo shoot for AC Milan’s new home kit, somewhat calming fears for the player who has been linked with a move back to the Premier League over recent days and weeks, with Manchester United said to been keen admirers.

Of course, things can change, and many players have been involved with photo shoots for new seasons before leaving in the following window, but right now the fact he’s there does indeed point to the conclusion that he is not going anywhere for the time being.

AC Milan will wear the new kit for the first time this weekend when they host Cagliari in their final game of the season.
