The Sporting Kansas City striker Alan Pulido recently stated that the decision to continue in Major League Soccer or move to Liga MX hangs by a thread, and it won’t be for a few days before he can choose between the two competitions and define his future.

Pulido focused on present, with doubts on future

“With my representative there have been talks about that, here I have had talks with Sporting and they want me to stay here, but we are analyzing things and in one or two weeks my future will be known,” the player stated ahead of his team’s Leagues Cup game against Cincinnati.

That being said, and in light of his good campaign in the MLS, the 32-year-old’s career could be headed in another direction, and the main interest is with Chivas of Guadalajara. However, for the moment, Alan is comfortable with his time in American soccer and is focused on what he can bring to his current team.

“I’m happy that I’m playing now, it’s been very important this year after the injury, I’m happy to score goals again, to feel like a player and to help my team get important points,” he said.

It’s worth noting that Pulido was sent off in the Cincinnati clash and will miss the next game against the Rebaño Sagrado.
