The Copa del Rey is drawing to a close. The first leg of the semi-final between FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid ended with a stunningly entertaining 4-4 tie between two title contenders, meaning the game is still completely open and will have to be decided at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium.

When is the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg between Atlético and Barcelona?

Atlético will host Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa del Rey tie on Wednesday, April 2, at 3:30 p.m. ET at the Metropolitano.

Last precedent between both in Madrid

The last time these two sides met was in February 2017, when Atlético Madrid were still based at the Vicente Calderón stadium. That semi-final first leg match ended 2-1 for Barcelona, a victory they earned thanks to goals from Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi. The Atlético goal was scored by Antoine Griezmann. Back then it was just one leg.
