Barcelona vs Mallorca: times, how to watch on TV, stream online | LaLiga

Xavi Hernandez’s team wrapped up LaLiga with weeks to spare but have lost to Real Sociedad and Valladolid since sealing the title.

AS USA

Barcelona host Mallorca at Camp Nou on Sunday in the final home game of their LaLiga-winning campaign.

Barça won the title with a victory over neighbours Espanyol but have suffered a sharp drop-off in form after securing a first LaLiga triumph since 2018/19. That win over Espanyol was followed in quick succession by defeats to Real Sociedad and Valladolid. They will want to put that run to an end with a convicing win on Sunday.

The Catalan giants have their final home game of the season against mid-table Mallorca and will be desperate to close out the season at Camp Nou with a win. It will be a chance for the team and its supporters to say a ‘temporary goodbye’ to the famous stadium before they move to Estadio de Montjuic while Camp Nou is being renovated.

Barcelona vs Mallorca prediction

After building their success on the best defence in the league, Barcelona’s backline seems to have given up for summer in recent weeks. Xavi’s side conceded just nine times in their first 33 LaLiga games, but have let in another nine in their last three.

With that in mind, we expect Mallorca to score but Barcelona should have enough to win.

Prediction: Barcelona 3-1 Mallorca
