Benfica took almost a decisive step forward towards the quarterfinals by defeating their opponents 0-2 in Belgium, and a collapse seems the only way the Portuguese don’t make it to the next round.
The hosts, who could reach the Champions League quarterfinals in back-to-back campaigns for the first time in their history, are comfortably leading the Portuguese league with 62 points, eight clear of second-placed Porto.
