Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has the chance to create Champions League hat-trick history tonight against Chelsea. The French striker grabbed his second hat-trick in a row in the Champions League in the quarterfinal first leg against Chelsea, having previously scored three against PSG to stun Messi & Co and end their money-fuelled hunt for the Champions League title for another year.

With that second hat-trick Benzema joined a group of just four players to have scored consecutive hat-tricks, and if he can grab another triple tonight he’ll become the only player to have scored three hat-tricks in a row in the competition.
