Best of U.S rap, Colombian reggaeton and Nigerian afropop set to headline Club World Cup final halftime show
The final of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup is set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 13.
In just a handful of days, the opening match of the 2025 Club World Cup will kick-off in Florida as Inter Miami and Al Ahly get the ball rolling at the new FIFA competition with the opening game slated for Saturday, June 14.
32 of the biggest club names (PSG, Real Madrid, Boca Juniors, Bayern Munich...) across the planet will meet in the United States to battle it out with the final being staged at MetLife Stadium (New Jersey) on 13 July with the competition also serving as a logistical acid test for FIFA with the 2026 World Cup just a year away.
Keeping in step with major sporting events in the United States, FIFA have confirmed that the final of the Club World Cup will have a ‘half-time’ musical show with American rapper Doja Cat, Colombian J Balvin and Nigerian artist Tems set to headline the show in the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
“The final halftime show will be curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to improve access to quality education,” FIFA said.
