This weekend, Chivas and Cruz Azul will lock horns at the Akron Stadium, as part of matchday 16 of the Clausura 2023. As with other clashes between these two, a number of celebrities will be supporting their heroes along with everyone else, so we thought you’d want to know who is shouting for who in arguably the most anticipated game.

We start with Capi Pérez, because for some years now, the host of the program ‘Venga la Alegría’ has shown his fanaticism towards the team. He has also been spotted on several occasions visiting the stadium to see the players up close.
Eugenio Derbez has shown that he is a faithful fan of Los Cementeros. He even expressed all his affection in his character ‘Ludovico’ in ‘La familia P. Luche’, which is one of the most successful series he has done so far. Currently, the producer and actor usually enjoys each game from home, since he has been living in Los Angeles for some time.
The television presenter Claudia Lizaldi is a great fan of Los Celestes, which is why on various occasions she proudly wears the team’s shirt, and has published a few moments on social networks.
Martha Higareda is another of the stars who follows the team, although now that she lives in Los Angeles she cannot visit the team frequently, but she does show her admiration, through her Instagram account.

The actor Demián Bichir has also shown his affection for the team, and was even part of the Super Clásico USA, a match that was held in the neighboring country against América, to raise funds for children.
Host Jimena Pérez ‘La Choco’, has attended several matches and has expressed her feelings for her team. “Win or lose, my heart belongs to Chivas,” she once wrote on her Twitter account.
Actress Jacky Bracamontes is also a great fan of the team and, through her social media, she often shows off some photos of her wearing the shirt. On several occasions she has been seen enjoying matches at the stadium.
