How long will he be out for?

Club América are on the charge to the top of the table and recently thrashed Chivas at the Estadio Azteca.

What is Araujo’s record with América?

America signed Araujo in July 2022 from Spanish side Celta Vigo after paying a sum of €3 million. However, the player has fallen far short of expectations due to both his playing level and a series of recurring injuries. As a result, in total, he has played just 35 games, starting 28 he has contributed two assists. As for the Apertura 2023, Araujo has only played twice, and that total is set to stay that way.
