CONMEBOL Legends Match: Players, schedule, how and where to watch in the United States

Two teams of soccer legends go head to head in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, for the CONMEBOL Legends Match.

Some of the most illustrious names in the history of South American soccer will take to the field at DRV PNK Stadium, home of Inter Miami, for the showpiece fixture. The game celebrates the incredible history of CONMEBOL, with the likes of Ronaldinho, Sergio Agüero, Carlos Valderrama and Gonzalo Higuaín all involved.

The game will act as something of a warm-up for the much-anticipated Copa América 2024 draw on Thursday.

In Tuesday’s game Team 1 will be led by legendary Argentinian manager José Néstor Pékerman, who coached both Argentina and Columbia at World Cups. Pékerman’s side have an undeniably Argentinian flavour, with a smattering of other stars from the continent.

His team includes Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero, Carlos Valderrama, Maxi Rodríguez and Javier Zanetti. Gonzalo Higuaín also features, returning to former club Inter Miami for the game.

Team 2 is managed by Pacho Maturana, who’s coaching career spans five decades. He led his home nation of Colombia to their first ever national title, the 2001 Copa America, and is currently a member of the FIFA Football Committee.

He will oversee a star-studded team headlined by former Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldinho. Alongside him are fellow Brazilians Lucio and Dida, while Iván Zamorano and Jorge Campos also feature.
