Doubts hang over ‘El Tri’ as they head to Nations League Final Four
Diego Cocca’s Mexico side rescued a draw late on in San Diego against Cameroon in their final test ahead of the Nations League.


Mexico’s preparation ahead of a busy summer has come to an end following friendly games against Guatemala and Cameroon.
On Saturday night, Mexico were fortunate to come away with a draw against Cameroon at San Diego’s Snapdragon stadium with Kevin Álvarez scoring an equaliser deep into stoppage-time. The performance left many lingering questions but the added time goal does ensure that Diego Cocca remains unbeaten as ‘El Tri’ manager.

In his time on the bench with Mexico, the Argentine has recorded two wins and three draws with his team finding the night nine times and shipping five goals as thoughts turn to endeavouring to secure some silverware with Mexico as the Nations League Final and Gold Cup competitions loom.
