Erling Haaland has scored his 34th Premier League goal of the season. It only took the Norwegian three minutes to find the back of the net when he fired past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno from the penalty spot at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Haaland’s 34th Premier League goal equals the overall record in a Premier League season.

50 for Haaland

His tally is, however, a record by a player in a 38-game season, and equals the number set by Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer in 42-game seasons.

The strike against Marco Silva’s Fulham was Haaland’s 50th in all competitions this season.

Álvarez stunner

After Fulham equalised through Carlos Vinicius, City took the lead in London when Julián Álvarez scored a stunning individual goal from 25 yards out.

The World Cup winner curled a magnificent strike into the top corner to hand City all three points and move Pep Guardiola’s side to the top of the league.
