FC Barcelona predicted line-up against Cádiz in LaLiga Santander 22/23

Barça get back to football after a week in the headlines; they will look for the best way to find the misfiring Lewandowski.

Update:
FC Barcelona predicted line-up against Cádiz in LaLiga Santander 22/23

There are weeks when it is better to stay in bed. FC Barcelona have experienced one of those increasingly frequent periods in its recent history that contrasts with the oasis on the field, one in which the noise comes from the corridors of Camp Nou and not the stands. The brief hiatus of head-spinning controversy came during the 90 minutes against Manchester United in the Europa League, and now the time has come to focus once again, on the football, which is what happens from time to time at the Camp Nou between trouble and problems.

More detail:

Barcelona still lead the league

Barcelona, leader of LaLiga, welcome Cádiz to the Camp Nou with the intention of winning the match and being able to travel to Manchester on Thursday with the peace of mind of having the LaLiga trophy one step closer.

The difference in quality (and money) between the two squads, as well as the 34 points that separate them in the table, would perhaps justify a reasonably straight game for Xavi’s men, but for some time now Sergio’s Cádiz have caused them problems, even at the Camp Nou. Only Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol have escaped a trip to Camp Nou with any points, two teams that arrived with the label of ‘easy win’. Let’s see if the same goes for Sergio.

Ex-Leeds winger Raphinha received a lot of criticism for his reaction to being taken off against Manchester United; Xavi has since backed the player.

Who will play for Barcelona against Cádiz?

Cádiz beat Xavi’s men last season at Camp Nou with a goal from Lucas, who will not be on the pitch today; but one of the recurring heroes when Cádiz face Barça is the goalkeeper Ledesma, who grows 300 sizes as soon as he eyes the Catalan team’s crest on the chest of the opposition striker.

Just in case you wanted some more news to swirl around the stadium, Xavi has already warned that it will be a night of rotations. Sergi Roberto is to start as full-back and Eric will return to the starting XI alongside Christensen and Balde, substitutes in midweek; Araújo is suspended and Koundé is to be rested.

Without Pedri and with Busquets, De Jong will share the middle of the pitch with Gavi and Kessié, while in front them, Ferran and Raphinha will try to try to feed a Lewandowski who is suffering from something of a goal drought.
