Against the Saints, Haaland headed home a Kevin De Bruyne cross before the break to give his side a narrow lead at half-time.

He has 44 goals in all competitions this season and Saturday’s brace means he is now seven goals ahead of Harry Kane, who is the second-highest scorer in the Premier League with 23 goals.
