Real Madrid titles

Real Madrid are the second most successful club in the competition, lifting the Spanish Super Cup a total of twelve times. Catalan rivals Barcelona - who lifted the trophy last year - lead the way on 14 Spanish Super Cup victories, with northern clubs Athletic Club and Deportivo La Coruña coming after Madrid on three titles each.

Los Blancos have lifted the trophy in three of the last six editions (2017, 2019 and 2022). Along with Barcelona, Madrid are one of only two teams to have participated in all four editions of the Spanish Super Cup since its change of format in 2019/20, reaching the final of the competition in three of the four and winning two titles (2020 and 2022).
