How much did Pumas pay for Leo Suárez?
Malagón wished his former team-mate luck at his new club after leaving América.
Due to a lack of game time Leo Suárez decided to leave América and join Pumas. The Argentinian signed with his new club on the last day of the transfer window to bring an end to his spell with Las Águilas. The club did not take his departure badly, although Luis Malagón has revealed that Suárez did not say goodbye to his team-mates.
At a press conference, the América goalkeeper had only positive words for Suárez, who left the Mexican giants as a league champion and will now begin a new chapter with Pumas where he will look to become a starter under Gustavo Lema. However, Malagón pointed out that the Argentinian did not say goodbye to his team-mates this week.
“Leo is a great guy, a good team-mate. He always gave his all and was willing to give the best to the club and us. We didn’t see him, we didn’t hear from him, but we wish him every success. He deserves the best, God bless him,” he said.
