How much does Mbappé's Real Madrid jersey cost?
After going on sale on July 11, the range of merchandise with the new galáctico’s name stretches from baby suits to the authentic shirt for adults.
Over a month ago, Real Madrid and their sportswear brand Adidas officially unveiled the new jersey for the 2024-25 season. The new kit for the Madrid players once again incorporates distinctive designs compared to previous seasons. The home version features horizontal stripe patterns, while the second kit brings back the colour orange, and the third kit incorporates grey.
Mbappé arrives in Madrid shop
This year is special, as it marks the first time Kylian Mbappé will be wearing the Madrid jerseys. But while he is getting paid to do so, anyone else wanting to sport the French player’s merchandise will have to spend a considerable amount of money.
Initially, Real Madrid’s official website was selling the jerseys from $108 (€100) for the replica version to $175 (€160) for the authentic version, which is identical to what the first team players wear. At that time, in early June, it wasn’t possible to buy a jersey with Mbappé's name and the number 9 because the French player was still under contract with PSG until June 30. From July 11, Kylian’s gear became available for purchase in any version... and they literally flew off the shelves at the Adidas store in the stadium, selling out within hours.
Madrid’s Mbappé range
The most expensive version is the Men or Women’s Authentic Home Mbappé Jersey, which costs $200 (€185) and includes the competition patches: LaLiga or Champions League. The children’s version costs $140 (€130) and there’s even a baby version priced at $87 (€80).
There is, however, a more affordable version of the Mbappé jersey: named simply the Men’s Home Mbappé Jersey, priced at $130 (€120), to which one of the two patches (LaLiga or Champions League) can be added. Each patch costs $15. Only one patch can be added, as it goes on the right sleeve, while the HP logo, one of the team’s sponsors, is always on the left sleeve. These prices are for short-sleeve jerseys.
The prices for long-sleeve versions are slightly lower. So, if you want to buy an Mbappé jersey, you’ll need to save up: prices range from $87 for the baby long-sleeve jersey to $200 for the short-sleeve jersey with one of the patches. Expect to see plenty versions in the Bernabéu in the coming weeks and months.
