Javier Chicharito Hernández comments after LA Galaxy’s loss to Colorado Rapids

LA Galaxy lost 1-3 against Colorado Rapids and are still at the bottom of the Western Conference; Chicharito had his say on the situation.

Update:
Chicharito: “Los fanáticos tenían razón porque esta organización merece algo mejor”

LA Galaxy are yet to find their groove this season and suffered yet another defeat, this time in front of their own fans against Colorado Rapids. Lalas Abubakar, Kévin Cabral and Jonathan Lewis all scored for the visitors on the night in which the team led by Greg Vanney failed to fit the pieces together on the pitch.

Preston Judd scored for the home side in the 1-3 and as such, the team don’t remain at the very bottom of the league, with Sporting KC currently 14th. The team with the most ever MLS titles have only won one game in 10 and have just 6 points. Start striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández spoke after the game and gave his thought on the state of the team so far.

‘We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results’

We have to do things differently to get out of this”, said the captain. “I don’t know what, but we have to work it out. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results. It’s very frustrating, I don’t know what else to say.”

“The effort it there”, he continued, “but it’s not enough. We need a lot of things to change our situation, starting with the people who have to face up to it because we’re always the same people who talk. That has to change. Something has to change.”

Hernández says ‘the fans are right’ to protest

The Mexican striker asked for more of his teammates to show their face and take a leadership role in both the good and bad times. Javier Hernández also said that the fans were right for not turning up to the games in protest of the state of the club; they are asking for club president Chris Klein to leave his position.

“The fans are right because this organisation deserves better. We all deserve something better and the fans are right. This is not the situation we want to be in. You have to realise that if this does not hurt you, then you don’t deserve to be here. The Galaxy don’t deserve to be at the bottom of the table”, he added.
