João Félix’s future could depend on Neymar
João Félix is an option for PSG if Neymar leaves. Luis Enrique will have decisions to make at the Parc des Princes.
João Félix still hasn’t found a new club and if nothing happens, he will return to work under Diego Simeone at Atlético Madrid on 10 July. Atlético and the player’s agent are looking for a new club, but for the moment no one is getting close to the club’s expectations and their intention to recover a good part of the investment that made him the most expensive signing in their history.
Neymar could play for Luis Enrique at PSG
João Félix’s loan spell at Chelsea has not been as fruitful as expected, however, a new door may open for the forward. PSG are rebuilding, with Leo Messi leaving, and Kylian Mbappé looks set to continue for another season in Paris. Neymar’s future is completely up in the air, but Luis Enrique’s arrival may mean he will stay, having performed well under the coach at Barcelona.
The Asturian, although it is not yet official, is already beginning to outline the project he would like to lead. And Neymar’s future is something he has to decide on. João Félix is a player he likes, with technical quality and, at 23, still has room for improvement. And, if he wants to leave Atlético, Jorge Mendes is trying to find a destination that will allow him to play Champions League football.
Marco Asensio joins PSG
João Félix is looking for a club that gives him the option of staying in Europe’s top competition and competing for titles. PSG have signed Marco Asensio, but will need more signings in attack. And, if they turn to the Portuguese, it could be an ideal solution for all parties.
