On Monday night, the Vecchia Signora published an update on the newly signed French international: “Following complaining of pain in his right knee, Paul Pogba underwent radiological examinations that revealed a lesion of the lateral meniscus. In the next few hours he will undergo a specialist orthopedic consultation. Therefore, in order to continue treatment, he is not taking part in the trip to Dallas”.

Pogba, will now abstain from future training sessions and will be analysed by specialists as club medics will then outline a recovery path for the player. As things stand, it’s highly unlikely that the Frenchman will be available for Juventus’ debut in Serie A against Sassuolo on August 15, with Turin based ‘Tuttosport’, claiming that the player will have to undergo surgery and will unavailable for more than a month.
