PSG striker Kylian Mbappé is an avid NBA fans and was spotted courtside on 2 January at the Barclays Center accompanied by the Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi as they watched the Brooklyn Nets 139-103 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Both players got the opportunity to meet Nets star Kevin Durant, who gave the players a personalised jersey.

Mbappe was interviewed by NBA France in Brooklyn and asked to name his favourite current top five NBA stars which included Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James; Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets); Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks); Dallas Mavericks Slovenian star Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.
