“LaLiga should be ashamed” -Pelé's daughter speaks out about Vinicius racism

Kelly Nascimento, Brazilian soccer legend Pelé's daugher, joins the large group of supporters of Vinicius Junior after he suffered blatant racist attacks.

Update:

Brazilian legend Pelé would likely be saddened to see how Vinicius Junior has been treated in Spain lately. Pelé's daughter, Kelly Cristina Nascimento left a 7-minute video on her Instagram discussing the matter and saying how appalled she was by it. She also called on Real Madrid, LaLiga, and FIFA to do more.

“It’s insane that people still do this and get away with it,” said Nascimento. “Spain should be ashamed, LaLiga should be ashamed, Real Madrid should be ashamed that they’re not standing up for him and putting their foot down.”

“Large bodies of football governance putting ‘we’re with you’ on Twitter, you know what? No, you’re not. No one’s with him,” she continued. “He was alone, being abused by a stadium full of people.”

Real Madrid reported the racist abuse to the Attorney General’s Office as a hate crime, but FIFA has done little besides remind the world that their three-step process exists - a process which thus far has done nothing to stop the incessant abuse that 22-year-old Vinicius has suffered during his time with Real Madrid.
