Liverpool were held at home in an entertaining draw at Anfield. Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot was sent off for dissent at the end of the game as both sides went on to pick up a point. The draw sees Jurgen Klopp's side drop to second, while United move into seventh place in the Premier League table.

Arsenal leapfrogged Liverpool to go top of the Premier League ahead of the clash with Manchester United.
The Gunners beat Brighton 2-0 earlier today thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. Mikel Arteta's side moved two points clear at the summit.
Bruno Fernandes misses out
Bruno Fernandes is unavailable today as he is serving a one-match suspension.
Fernandes, 29, picked up his fifth Premier League yellow card of the season in the club’s 3-0 loss to Bournemouth last weekend when he was booked for dissent with five minutes left of normal time.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag: "We know we play against a good team, and it's going to be tough, but we can take belief that we've beaten them in the past."
Onana: "I’m not happy because I know I can do much better"
Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana says he is unhappy with his performances since moving to the club.
“I came here with a lot of ambition,” he told Sky Sports. “I wanted to win everything. But things went wrong and things are not going how I want. But I have to stay positive.
“If I have to speak about myself so far at United, I’m not happy because I know I can do much, much better.
“I’ve done it (before), and I know I will do better than what is happening now because football is just moments and it will change. And when everything changes, we will become the best again.
“You want to tell me in six months the best goalkeeper of the Champions League last season became the worst in the world? No!
“As I said in the beginning, everything is temporary. I know it will be alright. If it’s not today, it will be tomorrow. And if it’s not tomorrow, it will be after tomorrow.”

The last time the sides met at Anfield, Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 7-0. Cody Gakpo netted the only goal of quite an even first half, but Liverpool ran riot in the second half, scoring six times.
Harry Maguire picked up a knock in midweek and will miss today’s clash.
“Harry, he will not be available for the coming games, but we don’t think it is for the long term,” said United boss Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United take on Liverpool at Anfield as they look to get over a disappointing week after losing at home to Bournemouth in the Premier League and getting knocked out of Europe in midweek with their defeat to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes will miss today's trip to Anfield. Erik ten Hag will be without the attacking midfielder for the clash against Jurgen Klopp’s side and will therefore adjust his midfield.
