Mason Greenwood emerging as a star of the transfer market
Former Manchester United forward Greenwood continues to impress in France with Marseille, attracting growing interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

The summer transfer window is already coming into view, even though it is still more than two months away from opening. Several players are emerging as key names to watch in what could be a major market for big-money moves. One of them is Mason Greenwood, who has delivered a standout season in France.
Greenwood becomes a key figure at Marseille
The English forward has established himself as one of the top performers in Ligue 1. While Olympique de Marseille enjoyed a strong first half of the season, recent results have dipped. Even so, the team’s overall level of play and Greenwood’s individual contribution have remained consistent since his arrival from Getafe.
Greenwood has been in excellent form throughout the campaign, scoring 25 goals and adding 10 assists in all competitions so far. In Ligue 1 alone this season, he has netted 15 goals, putting him in the race for the league’s top scorer award. He trails Strasbourg’s Joaquín Panichelli, who has 16 despite an injury setback, and Rennes striker Esteban Lepaul, who leads with 17.
🚨Paris FC are keen on signing Mason Greenwood this summer.

Consistency over two seasons in Europe
Across the past two seasons, Greenwood has been directly involved in 62 goals in 77 appearances. Those numbers have strengthened the belief among several clubs that he could be a priority target this summer.
Last year, multiple teams explored a potential move, but he chose to continue his project in Marseille. At Getafe, he already showed his quality had not faded, and he has fully confirmed that form since moving to Ligue 1.
How much will Greenwood cost?
When a player produces at Greenwood’s level, transfer fees naturally escalate. In his case, analysts expect a valuation in the region of €40 million to €50 million (approximately $47 million to $59 million), though that figure could drop if Marseille fail to secure Champions League qualification.
That European qualification could prove decisive, both in retaining him and in maintaining his market value.
Surprise team interested in big-money Greenwood move
Greenwood was already a target for several clubs last summer, but Marseille’s Champions League ambitions and his commitment to the project convinced him to stay.
Now, attention is building again. Among the latest clubs linked with a move is the hugely ambitious Paris FC, adding another layer of intrigue ahead of the transfer window.
