Mbappé's mother: “If we could have accepted €10 billion from PSG, we would have”
The mother of the PSG star revealed her interest in the money offered by the French club, saying ‘there’s no shame, that’s how the system works’.

The striker will likely elaborate on the portion of his salary allocated to his foundation, “Inspired by Kylian Mbappé,” to which, according to his mother, Fayza Lamari, receives 30% of their son’s income.
The parent of the World Cup winner asserted in the show, as per a preview obtained by the newspaper Le Parisien, that they were uncompromising in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain in 2022. She mentioned that they would have accepted an unprecedented amount in football to renew his contract, if necessary.

“There is no guilt and no shame. If we could have accepted [€]10 billion ($10.9b), we would have, because that’s how the system works,” Lamari stated proudly regarding the contract signed by Kylian Mbappé.
In May 2022, PSG announced the extension of the contract for the French national team captain, who committed to two further seasons with an option for an additional year, a clause he did not exercise last summer. His annual salary stands at €72 million gross, and the signed contract incorporated various loyalty bonuses contingent upon his continued stay in Paris.

The most recent one, amounting to €80 million, appears to have been declined by the player. This conclusion is drawn from statements made by both Mbappé and Al Khelaïfi, affirming an agreement reached in the summer to waive such bonuses in the event of his departure from the club without renewal.
Reports suggest that Mbappé is unsure about whether or not to stay in Paris after the expiration of his currently active deal, with 14-time European Champions, Real Madrid, waiting in the wings for a decision from the player in order to be able to activate Plan A or Plan B. As of yet, nothing has been confirmed and Mbappé is watching the clock tick on and his contract ticks down.
