Mohamed Salah’s impressive ride: This is the Liverpool captain’s fully electric Rolls-Royce Spectre | price, horsepower

If there was a mad rule introduced that said a player could only drive a vehicle similar to him or her, the Egyptian King is already sorted.

Update:

When Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah leaves training, he tends to do it in rather fitting style.

Recently, that meant pulling away in the all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, a car that feels as much like a statement piece as it does a mode of transport. Given his performances over the years for The Reds, I’d argue that the Egyptian King deserves every last one of the specifications within it. Let’s take a look at what we know about it...

What’s the spec of Salah’s car?

At first glance, the Spectre delivers everything you would expect from Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric production model. The imposing front grille remains, crowned by the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy, while the sleek coupe silhouette gives it a modern, almost futuristic edge. Massive 23-inch wheels and a long, sculpted body reinforce its presence, making it hard to ignore even among a fleet of supercars.

Privacy is also built into the experience. Tinted windows ensure Salah can slip away from training without constant attention. What am I talking about? Clearly the car itself draws plenty of knowing eyes.

Step inside and the Spectre gives a real feel of the Rolls-Royce tradition. The cabin is built around comfort and craftsmanship, with plush seating, a clean digital dashboard, and meticulous detailing throughout. While I’ve not been able to find Salah’s exact configuration, customization is central to the brand, so it is safe to assume no expense was spared. I’d like to think there’s a little crown motif and a Liverbird somewhere.

Rolls-Royce itself describes the Spectre as a “super coupé of sculptural elegance.”

How much power does Salah’s Spectre have?

You want to know what’s under the hood, right? Well, the fully electric drivetrain produces around 659 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful cars Rolls-Royce has ever built. Despite its size and weight, it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).

Just think of designing a car based on Salah at his peak: leave others for dead with a sprint, highly efficient when it matters, and a price tag – around $500,000 – that only a few can meet.

The question is, does he take it with him when he leaves Liverpool in the summer?
