The Special One uploaded an enigmatic video on his Instagram account. He gave no more details, sparking speculation on social media.
Roma coach José Mourinho has posted an enigmatic video on his Instagram account in which he claims to have been signed up by the best team in Mexico - a claim that has generated a great deal of excitement on social media, with all of the big clubs such as América, Cruz Azul, Chivas, Monterrey and Tigres, among those that fans believe he could be referring to.
“Hi, I’m José Mourinho. I’ve just got one thing to tell you - I have just been hired by the best team in Mexico,” was the Portuguese coach’s cryptic message.
Commitments with Roma
It’s unlikely that Mou will be leaving Roma just yet - he is under contract until June 2024 and fully immersed in the team’s campaigns in Serie A and the Europa League. It appears that he could have been referring to a new commercial agreement. At the moment, Mourinho has sponsorship deals with Adidas and Top Eleven 2024, the latter is a football manager simulation developed by Nordeus. During the past few weeks, plans to stage the Kings League are being finalzized in Mexico, and if organizers managed to invite Ronaldinho along as a special guest, why not the Special One, Mourinho?
