Paul Pogba to remain at Juventus for 2023-24 season
Offers have arrived from Saudi Arabia for Pogba, but they haven’t been considered by Juventus.
Paul Pogba is set to stay at Juventus after a meeting took place between his representative and the club over his future.
Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Serie A giants held talks with the player’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, who also represents Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Offers have arrived from Saudi Arabia for Pogba, but they haven’t been considered by Juventus.
With the objective of returning to the first team in the best possible shape for the 2023-24 campaign, Pogba is expected to start training ahead of his Juve team-mates’ pre-season.
Pogba’s struggles
Pogba, 30, only made six league appearances for Juventus in 2022-23, as injury issues kept him sidelined.
In his six games, the former Manchester United midfielder failed to score or assist for the Turin outfit.
Talks for Mazraoui
Juventus also held talks with Pimenta over Noussair Mazraoui, who is leaving Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, however, their preference would be to sign a more experienced player in Serie A.
