Manchester City take on Arsenal in the FA Cup on Friday at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The top two sides in the Premier League turn to cup action where they will be hoping to advance from the fourth round of the famous competition.

City faced Chelsea in the last round, also at the Etihad, where they beat Graham Potter’s side 4-0. On Friday, they host an Arsenal side who have had an extraordinary first half of the season, picking up 50 points, while City are second with 45 points.

Ruben Dias has returned from injury but Pep Guardiola may wait to start the Portuguese defender in the heart of his defence. Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish could join Erling Haaland in attack, but Phil Foden is also waiting in the wings.

Gabriel Jesus, Reiss Nelson and Mohamed Elneny remain sidelined for the Gunners. New signing Leandro Trossard could be handed his first start for the club.
