Pulisic slams rumors of rift with Milan coach as “unacceptable lies”
The American forward denied reports by Italian media claiming that his relationship with Sérgio Conceição was strained.

Christian Pulisic has firmly denied any issues with AC Milan coach Sérgio Conceição, and has made it clear that he has not told management that he wants to leave.
Following rumors of a rift after Milan’s Champions League exit to Feyenoord this week, Pulisic clarified that he is happy at the club and committed to staying. He emphasized the importance of unity within the team and dismissed the reports as “unacceptable lies”.
Crashing out of the Champions League was a significant blow for Sérgio Conceição and his team, who now have to focus on Serie A and the Coppa Italia, where they await their semifinal opponent (they will face the winner of Inter vs Lazio).

One of the main criticisms directed at the Portuguese coach during the second leg against Feyenoord was his decision to substitute key players like Pulisic and Santiago Giménez at the start of the second half, despite needing goals to advance to the next round.
Immediately after the game, reports surfaced in Italian media, including La Repubblica, suggesting that Pulisic was unhappy with the coach, leading to speculation that Pulisic might seek a transfer in the summer.

However, this Thursday, Milan’s official social media channels shared statements from Pulisic, denying these reports and affirming that there are no issues with Conceição and that he is very happy at Milan.
“I have never argued with the coach and I have never asked to leave. I am very happy at Milan and want to continue wearing this jersey. Reading these lies is unacceptable, but let’s all stay united and keep fighting together on the field, for the club and for our fans,” Pulisic explained in the statement.
