France manager Didier Deschamps has had to deal with numerous injuries before and during the 2022 World Cup campaign.

Didier Deschamps: “Not the easiest squad to pick”

“To be honest, this hasn’t been the easiest squad to pick. And that’s the way it is for other national team managers. Some players are recovering from injuries, others picked up injuries last night and some could get injured today,” said Deschamps, speaking about the difficulties of preparing for a tournament mid-season.
