Cruz Azul have not started the Clausura 2023 in the best possible way, at least off the pitch. After the failed negotiations with Panathinaikos of Greece for Uriel Antuna and the scandal over the birthday party of the son of ‘Cata’ Domínguez, it appears that in the club offices, things are not going well.

However, one way to keep the fans happy, in addition to good results on the pitch, is through the recruitment of great players, and a legendary player of Colombian football could be an option for the board of Cruz Azul.

Falcao to Cruz Azul?

The player in question is Radamel Falcao, who currently plays in the LaLiga with Rayo Vallecano. The news was reported by journalist Miguel Delucio, who claims to have a very reliable source. For the moment, neither of the two parties have made a statement on the matter.

If confirmed, the Colombian would be a great boost for the Mexican club, remembering that just a few weeks ago there was also talk of a possible signing of another top striker, Luis Suárez, who in the end opted for Gremio in Brazil.

As of today, Rayo Vallecano are in eighth place in LaLiga. Of the 16 games they have played, Falcao has scored two goals.
