Real Madrid celebrate ‘nights of European glory’ with new third kit

Black is the predominant colour for the new third kit which complements the white home and navy away jerseys for the 2023/24 season.

Real Madrid and Adidas have unveiled their new third kit ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. The new black kit complements the already released classic white home kit along with the navy away jersey. The new third shirt pays tribute to the club’s nights of European glory and is predominantly black with grey three stripe trimming with the club logo and sponsor in a dark yellow hue.

The kit is a homage to the club’s glorious European nights under the floodlights with Real Madrid having won the Champions League/European Cup a record 14 times. The jersey is specifically inspired by the shirt used in the 2000 UCL final when the club beat fellow LaLiga rivals Valencia 3-0 in Munich.

The new kits is launched globally today (10 August) and will be available in player issue version, replica, women’s cut and sizing for children and has been manufactured using 100% recyclable material along with the best technologies on the market, such as HEAT.RDY, which optimises temperature and helps players feel comfortable while competing at the highest level. The replica version also incorporates AEROREADY technology, which uses wicking materials to keep players dry.
