Real Madrid make Jude Bellingham signing official and confirm unveiling date
Bellingham has finally completed his move to Madrid from Borussia Dortmund. The England star has signed on a six-year deal.
Jude Bellingham is now officially a Real Madrid player but will have to wait a little to pull on the famous white jersey at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu for the first time. The ongoing renovation work at Los Blancos’ home ground means the England star’s unveiling in the Spanish capital will take place elsewhere.
Where and when will Bellingham’s Real Madrid unveiling take place?
The date and time has been set. Bellingham will be presented as Madrid’s latest summer signing at Real Madrid City, the club’s training complex, on at 12 noon local time (6:00 a.m. ET) on Thursday 15 June. Members from several supporters associations have been invited to attend the 19-year-old’s unveiling, which will take place after he has had a medical at Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Moraleja in the north of the city.
How much have Real Madrid paid for Bellingham?
After a long-running transfer saga, Bellingham’s move to Spain was finally made official on Wednesday, with Madrid paying a total of €103 million (circa $111.3 million) plus add-ons to Borussia Dortmund and the teenager signing a six-year contract.
At Bellingham’s unveiling, his squad number for the upcoming 2023/24 season is also expected to be revealed. The midfielder is the club’s third summer arrival following the returns of Fran García from Rayo Vallecano and Brahím Díaz from Milan.
