Real Madrid stars rewarded after World Cup: Mbappé, Bellingham, Cucurella...
Los Blancos played a big part in the 2026 World Cup’s Best XI, and now three of its stars have received another reward.
Real Madrid’s biggest stars have received another reward for their outstanding World Cup performances, with Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and new signing Marc Cucurella all seeing their market values rise following the tournament in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The trio were also named in FIFA’s Team of the Tournament, giving Madrid more representatives than any other club. The remaining eight players are goalkeeper Vozinha; defenders Pedro Porro, Dayot Upamecano, Lisandro Martínez and Cucurella; midfielders Rodri, Michael Olise and Bellingham; and a front three of Erling Haaland, Lionel Messi and Mbappé.
Why did Jude Bellingham’s value increase?
Bellingham enjoyed the biggest rise among Madrid’s players after scoring seven goals and providing one assist during the tournament. His market value jumped by approximately $35 million, taking him to around $185 million, making him one of the biggest winners of the latest valuation update.
Only fellow England international Elliot Anderson saw a larger increase, climbing by around $41 million following his record-breaking move from Nottingham Forest to Manchester City. Anderson’s valuation now stands at roughly $127 million, up from about $87 million.
For Bellingham, the World Cup confirmed his return to top form. He became the first England player ever to score seven goals at a single World Cup, reversing a decline that had seen his value fall from about $208 million in June 2025 to roughly $150 million just a month before the tournament. While he has not yet returned to his career-high valuation, he is much closer after an exceptional summer.
Mbappé and Cucurella also hit new milestones
Mbappé has re-established himself among the world’s most valuable players with an estimated market value of around $231 million. Only Haaland and Lamine Yamal, both valued at approximately $254 million, rank ahead of the French forward.
The Real Madrid striker finished as the leading scorer in LaLiga, the UEFA Champions League and the World Cup, while also becoming the tournament’s all-time leading scorer. His value had slipped to around $208 million in June but has now returned to a figure he previously held during his peak years between late 2018 and late 2019, and again after joining Madrid in late 2025.
Marc Cucurella completes the list. Signed just before Spain began its World Cup campaign, the left back has reached the highest valuation of his career at approximately $69 million. His previous peak had been around $64 million, achieved shortly after joining Chelsea in 2022, which is also believed to be close to the fee Real Madrid paid to secure his transfer.
