Real Madrid possible starting lineup vs Real Oviedo in LaLiga today
Mbappé could return as Madrid fans prepare to confront a team shaken by infighting, controversy and Barcelona’s title celebrations.

Real Madrid return to the Santiago Bernabéu after three straight games away from home, but the focus Saturday will stretch far beyond the visit of Oviedo.
Madrid’s 2-0 loss in last weekend’s Clásico handed Barcelona the league title and pushed tensions around the club to a boiling point. What should have been a routine homecoming has instead become one of the most emotionally charged nights of the season.
Supporters will see the team for the first time since the ugly fallout involving Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde, the growing controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappé and Florentino Pérez’s surprise announcement of presidential elections.
In that atmosphere, the Bernabéu is expected to make its feelings known.
Will Mbappé play for Real Madrid against Oviedo?
Álvaro Arbeloa is expected to have Mbappé available again, although the French star remains a game-time decision and will depend on how he feels physically before kickoff. Still, all signs point toward him returning to the starting lineup after missing the last 20 days of official competition.
His fellow Frenchman Tchouaméni is also expected to start despite the hostile backdrop surrounding his reunion with Madrid supporters.

Valverde, the other central figure in the reported locker room altercation, will not be available. The Uruguayan midfielder is still recovering from a head injury.
Eduardo Camavinga is once again expected to line up alongside Tchouaméni in midfield.
Defensive concerns pile up
Madrid’s biggest issues are currently at the back.
Dani Carvajal will return to the squad but is not expected to start. Dean Huijsen was unable to complete Thursday’s training session and is still dealing with the flu that already ruled him out of El Clásico. Raúl Asencio is expected to replace him.
Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is also battling a virus and has already been ruled out for Oviedo’s trip to the Bernabéu.
Ferland Mendy has joined Madrid’s long-term injury list following surgery. Rodrygo and Éder Militão also remain sidelined, while Arda Güler will not be available either.
Possible Real Madrid XI vs Oviedo
Courtois; Alexander-Arnold, Rüdiger, Asencio, Fran García; Camavinga, Tchouaméni, Bellingham; Brahim Díaz, Mbappé, Vinícius.
