Eduardo Camavinga asked to come off during Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Getafe at the Bernabéu on Saturday night, four days before the Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with Manchester City.
The result sees Madrid move back into second for now. Atlético do, however, have a game in hand over Ancelotti's men.
The Italian's second-half subs made the difference on the night. Kroos, Modric and Vinícius came off the bench to get the home side over the line at the Bernabéu.
Getafe only have four games to try to stay in the Primera División.
Madrid win narrowly
It was far from the prettiest spectacle but Madrid get the job done against Getafe, who stay in the bottom three for now.

Ancelotti has made eight changes for this match. He likely knows his eleven for the semi-final second leg against City on Wednesday. Madrid have never won at the Etihad. It should be a cracker and is finely poised at 1-1.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will return to the United States this summer to star in another stateside edition of El Clásico.
The game will be a repeat of last year’s game between the Spanish giants at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last time it was Barça who took the spoils so Los Blancos will be out for revenge this time around.
On Friday, Barça and Madrid confirmed that their next meeting will come on Saturday, 29 July at the AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
