Inter Miami fans can’t wait for the coming winter transfer market, because they are hopeful of seeing striker Luis Suárez head to the DRV PNK Stadium. The current soccer rumour mill is strongly linking him as a potential reinforcement for the team managed by Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino and led by Lionel Messi.

The stars appear to be aligning and the piece falling into place for the current Gremio player to become the latest big name star for the Herons for the 2024 MLS season.

Miami coach, the Argentine Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, recently opened up about the possibility of Suárez’s making the move to the US, saying that the club is working on plans with and without Suárez for the next season. A statement that has sent the fans into a frenzy of excitement.

Another significant step towards the Uruguayan making the move was Inter Miami letting go of Josef Martínez, the Venezuelan striker who didn’t fit into the Tata’s plans for the upcoming season. Reading the runes a certain way, fans are convinced that means the team is earnestly seeking Suárez to bolster their attack.

In an interview with the British betting site, Stake, Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero was asked about the possibility of seeing Luis Suárez and Leo Messi play together again. He confirmed it’s a possibility he would just love to see, as the two players have a perfect understanding on the field.

“Hopefully, we see Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez play together again. A remarkable offensive duo. With just one look, they know what the other had in mind all along,” said the former Manchester City player.

Agüero also revealed that since Messi’s arrival in the MLS, more and more players are eyeing the American league, with their also being a possibility of seeing Sergi Roberto in Inter Miami.

“I’ve also heard about that too, I’m not sure how true it is. As I’ve said before, football is full of surprises. However, it must be said that since Leo joined the MLS, more and more players are looking to the league,” he added.
