Streamer 25-15 Liga MX champion
Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, showed off his shooting accuract during the 2025 Skills Challenge.

Liga MX and Major League Soccer faced off once more in the 2025 Skills Challenge, the annual event that precedes the All-Star Game and showcases participants’ technical abilities through a series of ball-control and precision-based contests. As has been the trend in recent years, the U.S.-based league once again demonstrated its dominance over its Mexican counterpart.
Streamer outshoots Toluca star
One of the most talked-about moments came during the shooting challenge, where Toluca’s Clausura 2025 champion Luan García went head-to-head with streamer Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed.
The challenge involved striking targets on the goal with varying point values. To the surprise of many, the American content creator outperformed the professional footballer by a wide margin, winning 25-15.
The result was particularly striking given García’s recent heroics - he scored the decisive goal in Toluca’s championship win over Club América just two months ago. Watkins Jr., on the other hand, only began incorporating soccer into his streaming content in 2023.
