Norway at the 2026 World Cup: roster, list, players, group stage schedule and results

Norway kicked off their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign in style, defeating Iraq 4-1 in their opening Group I match on June 16. Erling Haaland starred for The Vikings, scoring twice in the first half to become the first Norwegian player to register a World Cup brace. Defender Leo Østigård also found the net, alongside a late own goal from Iraq’s Aymen Hussein.

They faced Senegal in their second group-stage match on June 22, at the New York New Jersey Stadium and walked away with a 3 - 2 win, putting them in the top spot along with France in Group I. The two soccer powerhouses face off tonight at 3 p.m. ET.
