Super Cup Clásico final lines up elite $720-million quartet
The 2025 Spanish Super Cup final brings together four of the five most valuable players in the world, as Real Madrid face eternal rivals Barcelona.
Spanish football is showcasing its finest in Saudi Arabia. The Super Cup final promises a match of the highest caliber, featuring a Real Madrid vs Barcelona Clásico showdown with an unparalleled lineup. Four of the world’s top five most valuable players will take the field. This is a rare chance to see Vinicius Jr (24), Jude Bellingham (21), Lamine Yamal (17), and Kylian Mbappé (26) compete head-to-head.
Only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (24) is missing to complete the top five.
No other match can assemble such a concentration of brilliant stars. Collectively, these four players are valued at $720 million, according to Transfermarkt. This dream quartet exceeds the total value of renowned clubs like Atlético, Inter, Juventus, or Milan. It’s an unmatched lineup set to decide the season’s first national title. Expect top-tier football in Jeddah.
“Vinicius is the best player in the world,” declared Ancelotti after the controversial Mestalla incident, standing firmly behind his protégé. This opinion is supported by the FIFA The Best award Vinicius received just before the Intercontinental final and his high market valuation. Transfermarkt lists the Brazilian at $200 million, the highest ever recorded for a footballer—matching Haaland and, back in 2019 as the reigning world champion, his teammate Mbappé.
Vinicius’s stellar performance last season’s final, where he scored a hat-trick against the Blaugranas, was a key factor in his FIFA accolade and record valuation.

Bellingham and Lamine Yamal share the third spot, each valued at $180 million. The second-to-last superstar and the latest gem from La Masia are meeting in a final for the third time. Last year, the English side won the Super Cup; in July, the European Championships were clinched by Rocafonda’s prodigy, with the Spanish national team. Both titles have boosted Jude’s market value and tripled Lamine’s within a year.
Completing this star-studded Super Cup lineup is Mbappé. The French star, valued at $160 million, has been a mainstay in global football royalty for several seasons and is aiming to reclaim his peak form from 2019. He has performed well in finals, scoring in both the European Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup. Mbappé is a golden acquisition for LaLiga, capping off what promises to be a luxurious final.

Vinícius and Haaland top the charts: $200 million valuation
Brazilian star Vinícius Jr. shares the title of the world’s most valuable player with Erling Haaland, according to Transfermarkt, with both valued at $200 million. It was three years ago, on December 30, 2021, that the Rio de Janeiro native first hit the $100 million mark. Since then, two Champions League titles—where he played starring roles by scoring in both finals—have propelled his market value to $200 million. From December 2023 to October 2024 alone, his valuation increased by $50 million. Vinícius leads all six categories tracked by Transfermarkt, including being the most valuable player globally, for Brazil, for Real Madrid, in La Liga, as a left winger, and among players born in 2000.
Lamine Yamal: A $120 million surge in one year
Lamine Yamal’s valuation has skyrocketed from $60 million in December 2023 to $180 million today—a remarkable $120 million increase in just one year. The young talent’s meteoric rise began with his standout performances against PSG, continued with stellar showings at the Santiago Bernabéu (notably in Spain’s friendly against Brazil and El Clásico), and culminated in a memorable Euro 2024 campaign. Yamal was named the tournament’s best young player, won the Golden Boy award, and claimed the Kopa Trophy, cementing his place as one of the sport’s brightest stars.
Bellingham matches Yamal’s valuation
Jude Bellingham, valued at $180 million since December 2023, is the second most valuable player in Real Madrid's squad. The English midfielder ties with Lamine Yamal for the second-highest valuation globally, trailing only Vinícius and Haaland. Bellingham also holds the top spot for market value among English players, players born in 2003, and offensive midfielders.
Mbappé: Still France’s most valuable player
Once valued at $200 million (2019), Kylian Mbappé’s market worth has dipped to $160 million, largely due to a tumultuous season at PSG, where he was partially sidelined by Luis Enrique. Despite this, Mbappé remains France’s most valuable player and has consistently been valued over $100 million since he was 19 in 2018. Following him among French players are Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga, both valued at $80 million.
