Tajon Buchanan on the verge of joining Inter

Tajon Buchanan is on the verge of completing his move to Inter. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A giants will pay around €7 million ($7.74m) for the 24-year-old Canadian player.

Buchanan will join the 2022-23 Champions League runners-up from Belgian outfit Club Brugge, and the fee could rise to €10 million ($11m) with add-ons. The Canada international will undergo his Inter medical on Thursday.

Buchanan’s stats

Buchanan plays as a right winger and has three goals and four assists in 20 appearances in all competitions for Club Brugge this season.

He is also a starter in the Canadian national team, where he has four goals and seven assists in 35 international appearances.

Inter begin 2024 top of Serie A with 45 points from their 18 games played and sit two points ahead of rivals Juventus in second.
