Thibaut Courtois reveals “tailor-made” Porsche
Real Madrid’s Belgian goalkeeper has had some very personalised aspects to his new Porsche 992 GT3 RS which will impress some.
The streets of the Spanish capital have already witnessed the sound produced by the latest gem in Thibaut Courtois’ automotive empire. The Belgian goalkeeper of Real Madrid, missing most of this season due to injury, has once again claimed the title of the fastest off the pitch, thanks to his latest acquisition: a custom-made Porsche 992 GT3 RS, the specifications of which are now coming to light. And these are no ordinary features.
If the base price of the car itself is €248,157 (c.$269,000), this figure needs to be augmented by approximately €100,000 for the options that Los Blancos’ number one has incorporated.
As indicated in a Facebook post by KRN Speed, several modifications from the Porsche Sonderwunsch program have reportedly been included in the final design. This program is the luxury brand’s initiative for customized cars. Additionally, the Weissach package, inclusive of a roll cage and fixed seats, has been included. Furthermore, the vehicle boasts a special paint job, priced at €15,000, providing it with a distinctive combination of metallic golden bronze and black colors. Collectively, these additions contribute to a total cost of “just under €400,000.”

The car possesses the unique ability to continually amaze. One of the most notable elements is Courtois’s signature inside the driver’s side door. Alongside his signature, the inscription reads: “personally built for.”

And, as uniqueness is never without the element of time, the aforementioned post details the timeframe it took to create this masterpiece, specifically two years of assembly. And now it sits there, in his garage, alongside other formidable contenders like a Lamborghini Urus and a Ferrari Roma.
Yet, his Porsche stands apart. Enumerating all its features is akin to naming each drop of water that contributes to a waterfall’s flow, coloring every grain of sand on all the world’s beaches, or attempting to estimate, more or less, the number of leaves in the Amazon rainforest. Am I going too far?
As described there is a “front splitter with extended lateral movements, edges of the front air dam, housing for the front fog lamp, L-shaped aerodynamic piece, and fins above the hood air outlets.” It also features aerodynamic grilles, front fenders, and side fins on the endless canvas that is its body.
The external coating of the car highlights the rear wing supports, shaped like a swan’s neck, the cover of the rear engine compartment, and how the two aforementioned colors blend in each piece to give the vehicle a contrast that exudes luxury from every metallic pore. At the rear, dual exhaust pipes, centrally aligned and standard in dark chrome, ultimately complete a unique model that Courtois has already had the opportunity to get his foot down on.
